Can not connect to RStudio in JupyterHub

Good morning,

Since yesterday I can not access RStudio through JupyterHub. I log in to the Hub just fine but then RStudio never loads. I just get this instead:

The rest of the JupyterHub features (like Python) work fine. Also, the rest of my lab members have access to JupyterHub do not have that problem.

Hello,

What browser are you using ? Have you tried with another one ?

I noticed some problems with Firefox.

I have tried in both Chrome and Firefox and I have the same problem.

Yes. It worked fine 2 weeks ago.

I believe there is a config problem at stake, but I’m not exactly sure. I would try the following steps:

  • stop the jupyterhub server completly (in File > Hub Control Panel, logging out is not enough)
  • delete the .cache/rstudio and maybe also the .jupyter directories
  • restart the jupyterhub server

I logged in JupyterHub and RStudio was loaded before I tried any of the steps you indicated as if there was never any problem.
If my problem occurs again I will try the steps before contacting you.
